What did you learn from perusing the Blogs of other students participating in Genius Hour/20 Time?
From going through the kids blogs I learned that some put in lots of effort and other s only a littler. The kids who put in effort actually went out of school and worked on the project. I saw many that went into the community and worked on their project through people or the area. When they got involved with people it made it seem like the project was worth something more than just a grade. I feel like that is the point of this project; to research your interest then bring information of that interest to others.
How can you use what you have learned to impact your own Genius Hour project/ TedTalk?
The one thing I learned is that this project takes more time than just one hour a week, also I learned that getting other people involved make the project more interesting. So with this I know I need to put a little more effort to include others with my project. My one idea is to make a short video of how to play an easy song on guitar. I have not mastered the song but if I worked on it a few minutes every night I could. I am not sure what I would talk about with my TedTalk but I know it would be close to, never giving up because playing guitar is one of the hardest things I've done and from the kids blog I saw a few take a route with their talks different than what it really was.
